Reporting an error

If a number on this site is wrong, that is worth knowing and we would rather hear it. Include the page address and what you believe the correct figure is. Where a county assessor or utility publishes something different from the federal data we use, we will say so on the page.

Using this data

The figures compiled here are published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence. You may reuse them, including commercially, with credit to Cost to Own and a link back. Journalists and researchers who need a cut of the data in bulk can just ask.

What we cannot help with

We do not give financial advice, we cannot tell you whether to buy a particular house, and we have no relationship with any lender, insurer or utility mentioned on this site.
